I would like to start this topic in a different mode. We will share the information on newer studies and courses, that could be helpful in finding a job quickly.

Anyone can share their views towards a specific course. In fact we all need a good job at the end of our study.

Thank you
Payel.

At present I am pursuing BA(Eng H) in Kolkata. And my elective subject is mass communication. I have heard that with this combination one can become a content writer. So I am concentrating on that. And enjoying to be a part time forrummer.

Payel, you have started a very good topic. I myself have felt the need to share/post information for those students who are on the threshold of a career. There are so many options out there nowadays that you are spoilt for choice, provided, of course, you have the right skills.

Payel your decision is quite right. The search engine marketing here in India is still in its infancy level. So as the content development part. I mean website content development and the content management (a part of internet resource management) would likely to play a vital role in the coming years. Good Smile I appreciate the decision. In addition if you acquire some knowledge with the Indian Financial market and the system you could play with the content sure.

Best luck
Thumb up

Yes, of course there is. If you want to try in stock market related matters then the certification courses are available on Dealer module, Derivative segment, and on Mutual Funds.

You can find the details here:

Great going conversations. Full of information. Well Payel I would like to put a suggestion here. As you are pursuing BA with mazor in English, you can also think of the stream like MSW - Masters in Social Work. This course is made specially for the NGO sectors. And there might also be a scope to work in abroad like US and UK. And as you have English as the main, you could have a comparative advantage in writing reports and other stuffs as well.

Best Luck.

Well said Zinia. I heard about that course and two of my friends have completed that. And they are well settled in the NGOs. But as you have told that this course is specially designed for the social development sector, I dont agree with you. As Corporates are now a days looking for the MSW qualified persons for the Human Resource management.

In our society there is a big stigma with the social development sector. The people who are serving that section are meant for doing nothing and they are just wasting their skills and abilities. Usually people run for the glamorous world what corporates have. But there is a big door open to the social development sector. It also provides you the opportunity to go abroad. You have mentioned that zinia.

I heard that in Europe and in US social problems are dealt by the MSW or related degree holders. As police and juridical science involve later to these matters. The remuneration could be as high as 25000 pounds a year. Thats a big money. So MSW is a good course to pursue.

Thanks zinia for sharing.
